Novus Water Filled Barrier

The Fastline Fencing Supplies Novus Water Filled Barrier is a heavy duty temporary safety barrier designed to create a strong and continuous barrier system for roadworks, construction sites, events and restricted areas.

When connected together and filled with water, the Novus barriers form a highly stable barrier line capable of withstanding challenging outdoor conditions. The barriers have been MIRA wind speed tested up to 68mph, providing confidence when used in exposed environments.

Novus Barrier System

The Novus barrier system is designed to provide a quick and effective way to create a temporary safety perimeter.

Each barrier unit can be easily positioned when empty and then filled with water once in place to provide additional stability and weight.

The barriers connect together to form a continuous line with minimal gaps, helping to guide pedestrians and vehicles safely around restricted or hazardous areas.

The system also allows the barriers to form 90° corners, making it easy to create enclosed zones or controlled access routes where required.

Novus Water Filled Barrier Information

The Novus barriers are manufactured from UV stabilised MDPE, providing excellent durability for both indoor and outdoor environments.

The barriers are produced in a high visibility red and white colour combination, helping to ensure clear visibility in busy areas such as roadworks, construction sites and public events.

Each barrier measures 2000mm in length, extending to approximately 2300mm when connected in a barrier system.

The overall height of the barrier is 800mm, with a base width of 520mm to provide additional stability once filled with water.

Each barrier weighs approximately 25kg when empty, allowing for easy transport and positioning before filling. When filled with water, the barrier weight increases to approximately 180kg, providing a highly stable safety system.

Optional reflective panels or mesh panels can also be added to improve visibility and increase the functionality of the barrier system where required.

The stackable design allows multiple units to be transported and stored efficiently, making them ideal for contractors and event organisers who regularly require temporary barrier systems.

Novus Barrier Installation

Installing Novus water filled barriers is quick and straightforward.

The barriers can first be placed into position along the required barrier line while empty, allowing them to be easily handled and moved into place.

Once positioned, each barrier can be filled with water to provide the required weight and stability.

The interlocking system then allows the barriers to be connected together to form a continuous barrier line, creating a strong and highly visible perimeter around the designated area.
